Sponsors Proud of Back the Blue Rally

backthebluerally2

At 9:00 AM on July 1, 2020, a peaceful rally was held in Florence to show support for local law enforcement in Pinal County and officers across the nation.

The event which was sponsored by the campaigns of Douglas Wolf (County Assessor) and Chuck Gray (Former State Senator).

Gray, who is a candidate for the Board of Supervisors for District 2 said, "As a former police officer, I know first hand how important it is to have the support of our citizens as we protect the public. The idea of defunding the police is dangerous and makes no sense." Gray added, "as County Supervisor, I will always defend law enforcement."

In addition to the several dozen residents that attended the rally, several Pinal County Constables and members of the Florence Police Department were also present.  Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb also stopped by to show his support.

"Our men and women in Blue, Brown and Green risk their lives every day to protect our lives and property and we appreciate and honor those who serve," said Wolf.
